Two ways to respond

Loud: the deterrent

Barking (or feline yowling), a strobing CAUGHT YOU screen with the exact evidence and time, and an escalating synthesized voice — "step away from the laptop" — until your secret 4-tap knock is entered. The tamperer is caught publicly, and you get a citation you can save as a PNG.

Stealth: the evidence

Your screen becomes an innocent sleeping clock. Every tamper signal is silently timestamped — the snoop sees nothing and leaves thinking they got away with it. Your secret corner-knock unlocks a classified surveillance report: exactly when your machine was touched, stamped THEY NEVER KNEW.

Tuned for real desks

Sensitivity is adjustable — hair trigger (a few pixels of movement), standard, or heavy sleeper for wobbly desks and twitchy trackpads. An optional entry delay gives you a 10-second grace window to knock when you return, so you don't set off your own dog.

Honest limits

It watches this screen while the browser tab has focus — second monitors aren't patrolled, and a locked machine doesn't need it.
